Making Blood Donation Simple, Social, and Rewarding.
Built by Students, For Students.
Yet hospitals are facing critical shortages because the current donation system is broken. Drives are hard to find, donating is inconvenient, and it's easy to lose motivation. Students want to help, but outdated processes stand in the way of action.
By transforming blood donation into a seamless one-tap decision, VAMP combines several innovative features:
Easily find and get notified about nearby blood drives in your area.
Monitor milestones and progress. Hear the real stories of those you saved.
Earn rewards from local businesses for your generosity and commitment.
Group donations, leaderboards, and challenges to keep you engaged.
Students are the healthiest, most social, and most responsive demographic. Only around 3% of the eligible U.S. population donates blood each year. Students can change this.
Our founder, Ahlay Hussain, recognized the need for greater engagement in blood donation and, being a college-aged student, recognized the potential in assembling student populations across the country. Enter VAMP, an app dedicated to making blood donation easy, social, and rewarding for students anywhere.
Started in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., VAMP is looking to expand into other cities and universities across the country to reach a broader student population. You can make that happen.
